BASIC FUNCTIONS

 

Under the direction and supervision of Manager-Sourcing, Kohler China, this person is mainly responsible for supplier sourcing and management, NPD and AD project, to support Kohler China Kitchen business development.

 

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Deploy the sourcing strategy for Kitchen Cabinet categories in Kohler China regional.

   

• Closely work with Kohler China regional Plant Sourcing team to support them to meet NPD target.

   

• Communicate with the current and potential suppliers concerning the new product development, technology and process for the benefit of Kohler China

   

• Co-ordinate on the cost reduction projects with different team and region.

• Reports to Manager-Sourcing, Kohler China
  
  

• Frequent contact with Kohler China Program, Marketing and Engineering team.

 

• Contact with relevant OEM, Raw material suppliers in China or Asia.

   

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

 

• University graduate with major in Supply Chain

   

• Commercial sense is a must. Experience in cost analysis is preferred.

   

• Good business ethic and integrity. Basic legal knowledge.

   

• Frequent travel is required

   

• Creative and Open mind to solving urgent issues.

   

• At least 3 years relevant experience in Sourcing, better have experience in Kitchen/Wardrobe/Whole-house Customization.

   

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and IE. Basic English writing, speaking and reading.

   

Excellent in negotiation, communications, sensitive to figures, quick response and good interpersonal skills.
