Position:     Foreign Exchange Clerk

 

Report to:   Head of Customer Services

 

Job Summary: 

To be responsible for providing foreign currency exchange service, verifying and signing in foreign exchange document, resolving problems and give advices to customers regarding related matters

 

Responsibilities:

• To provide service on foreign currency exchange, calculate and inform customers on exchange rate and fee

• To prepare and ensure the completeness of relevant document to use as information for developing report in order to be in compliance with the Bank’s policy & procedures and rules and regulations of relevant regulators

• To key in data into Bank’s system and escalate to Head of Customer Services for consideration and approval

• To follow up, control and resolve problems regarding foreign exchange services

• To coordinate with internal and external units regarding foreign exchange matters for the best serve to customers

• To control over safe-keeping of documents are implemented and carried out according to policy

• To keep up-to-date to both internal and external policy governing foreign exchange activities

• To perform other tasks as assigned by Head of Customer Services / Operations Section Chief

   

  Job Specifications:

  Technical Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or other related field

   

  Skills

• Inter-personal and problem solving skills

• Hard working and being able to deliver quality results under pressure

• Proficiency in both Chinese and English in particular good written and verbal communication skills

• Service minded

   

  Experiences

• Experienced staff working in banking/finance relevant industries at least for 1-2 years OR

       Fresh graduates majoring in Finance or Accounting or Economics.
