职位描述
Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Shanghai or North China cities
Major Responsibilities:
1. Lead and prepare project cost estimate from concept design to basic design as requested from project or for Company bidding and proposal purpose. Focus on one discipline at least and optional to take other discipline estimate;
2. Lead and prepare counter estimate for subcontracting and Change orders per the requirement of project;
3. Assist Head of Cost Estimation to develop special cost study on feasibility study and project planning;
4. Integrate and review all disciplines estimate to complete cost estimation. Provides cost clarification post bidding or proposal;
5. Organize and set up and maintain benchmark prices for all disciplines/products in China;
6. Organize and keep on tracking market price of equipment, material, labor and construction cost;
7. Organize, collect, compare, analyze, update and maintain database of historical information for estimation use;
8. Organize and conduct Project Evaluation.
9. Evaluation / Performance Indicators:
10. Utilization/Billable hours;
11. Number of estimation and value of estimate completed;
12. Quality of project estimation (Stated accuracy, Comprehensive and thorough, Client's reasonable expectation and clearly cost structure).
Requirements:
1. Education: Min Bachelor's Degree in science, engineering preferred;
2. Working Experience: At least 8 years of working experience in cost estimation or engineering/construction;
3. Knowledge (acquired information necessary to do the job): Advanced
1) of cost estimation discipline;
2) of Chinese Quota Book, Chinese Code on design or construction;
3) Level of knowledge required
4. Solid field or site experience with good data analytical skills;
5. High sense of responsibility, good teamwork spirit, ability to work independently, and sense of confidentiality;
6. Good PC Skills, such as MS Software, Notes and so on especial on Excel and Access;
7. English: Fluent-written & oral
