The Hydrogen Energy Systems (HES) team is responsible for Air Products’ efforts in the developing Hydrogen Mobility markets (deploying hydrogen as a fuel). The Business Development responsibilities encompasses commercial outreach through sales of gases and sales of equipment. The sales of gases includes the sales of hydrogen as the fuel through investment of HRS station to support the mobility market by AP fully owned entity or JV. The incumbent will be accountable to develop the H2 gas sales in the energy market in their territory and will support the field commercial team in other sub region to develop the H2 gas sales in the energy market.
In addition to the sales of gases business, the incumbent will be also accountable to develop the business of sales of HES equipment and provide the turn key solution to the clients in the territory. In this circumstance, he or she will also support the field bulk H2 sales team to sell the H2 to the clients.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
This position is accountable for the following end results:
- Support the deployment of China H2fM program.
- Develop the sales of gases business by identifying and securing the good chance to invest and operate the hydrogen refilling station in the territories through AP fully owned entities or JV.
- Develop the H2 energy sales of gas business through all kinds of channel in territories. Work closely with Sub region bulk H2 commercial team.
- Secure the business of sales of HES equipment in territories if there is no chance for the sales of gas.
- Interface with policymakers, major companies in China to influence a favorable position for AP.
- Work with Merchant H2 business team to develop the leading position of H2 business in territory.
- Ensuring that HES’s proposals, activities, and agreements are based on sound risk/reward structures.
- Cooperate with HES Engineering Team well to develop the best service to end market.
- Other project or job assigned by the supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Qualifications
Educational: Bachelor degree or above in the engineering or business.
Job Related: (Minimum) 10 years experience at business development.
Job Related: (Desirable) CNG, Hydrogen, fuels experience
