OKI is currently looking for an experienced, self-motivated Electrical Engineer to help with New Product Development as well as support of our industry-leading products and systems. The Electrical Engineer will work across a variety of functional groups that are directly involved in engineering, including product development, quality, and technical services.

The ideal candidate is an inventive problem solver capable of working through technical challenges and employing pragmatic solutions. More specifically, the electrical engineer will participate in projects involving state of the art soldering and rework systems in conduction and convection technologies, fluid dispensing and fume extraction systems.

The job requires experience in developing and providing sustaining engineering support for products that contain digital and analog circuits, switched-mode and RF power supplies, micro-controller based embedded control, optical, electromechanical and motor control subsystems.

Job Duties

? Directly performs electrical design tasks

? Electrical design using Cadence Or CAD/Spice/PCB Editor/Allegro

? Drives project progress by enforcing the new product development process

? Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.

? Works closely with product management, quality, and operations to drive successful project completions from inception to finished product

? Communicates project goals and action plans to the team members who participate in the project and verify that they have a solid understanding of their role.

? Works with product managers, team members, and functional managers keeping them informed of project progress, issues, and risks.

? Develops functional block diagrams for new products/systems

Requirements:

? Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering from an ABET accredited program (EAC).

? Master’s degree and/or PMP certification a plus.

? 10 years of project development with similar types of products. Skills Require

? Has been an EE lead on projects that developed similar products

? Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes

? Able to problem solve and troubleshoot as the need arises

? Proficient with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office programs.

? Proven experience working on multiple projects with successful completion.
