Scope of Responsibilities:
1. This role is accountable for the programming team deliverables for assigned study(s)/project(s)
2. Develops detailed programming strategy and plans the programming deliverables for assigned study(s)/project(s)
3. Coordinates and oversees programming team activities and provides technical and project specific guidance to programming team members to ensure quality and on-time deliverables in compliance with departmental processes. May lead others in an area of expertise that results in increased efficiency and quality of deliverables across multiple projects
4. Designs and develops programs in support of complex clinical analysis and reporting activities
5. Performs comprehensive review of, and provides input into, project requirements and/or project documentation
6. Initiate and implement ideas or processes that results in increased team efficiency and/or quality.
7. Identifies and implements opportunities for consistency across projects.
8. Proactively keeps abreast of new and changing technologies identifying the relevance of incorporating these updates into the department and share with colleagues.
9. Collaborates effectively within statistical programming and with cross-functional working group team members, including internal and external members
10. Supports development opportunities for others and may act as a mentor, coach.
11. May assume direct line management responsibility of a team of statistical programmers, recruiting, conducting performance reviews, setting and regularly reviewing objectives, providing guidance and mentoring, and developing and regularly reviewing training and career development plans.

Responsibilities:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher and/or equivalent in computer science, mathematics, health statistics or other scientific field (or equivalent theoretical/technical depth) is required
2. Minimum of 7 years (for bachelor)/5 years (for master) programming experience with increasing responsibility, preferably in a pharmaceutical/clinical trial environment, is required
3. Experience planning programming activities and leading teams of programmers is required
4. An in-depth knowledge of statistical programming and data structures, departmental processes, and relevant clinical research concepts is required
5. Working knowledge of regulatory guidelines, basic project management, and team leadership is required
6. Strong sense of responsibility, spirit of innovation, team oriented individual with a proven ability to thrive as a part of cross-functional efforts
7. Strong understanding of relevant regulatory guidelines and GCP
8. Expert knowledge of SAS programming. Knowledge of other statistical software (e.g., S-Plus, R, PASS) is preferred
9. Good communication skills in written and oral English

Harbour BioMed is a global biotechnology company discovering and developing innovative therapeutics for cancer with a focus on immuno-oncology and autoimmunity/inflammation. The company's discovery and development programs are centered around its two patented transgenic mouse platforms for human antibody discovery.
