The Melchers China organization is a member of the globally operating Melchers Group. Establishing its first Asian branch in 1866 in Hong Kong, Melchers is engaged in doing business with China ever since. To increase both the effectiveness and efficiency of the HR team, we are looking in Shanghai for an experienced
HR Generalist
- Responsibilities
- Ensure excellent alignment and execution of established human resources policies, procedures etc;
- Identify and address HR employee relationship issues;
- Implement and communicate policies and practices to ensure fair and consistent treatment of employees, make sure all HR policies are up-to date and in compliance;
- Prepare HR reports analyze data;
- Drive HR initiatives such as employee survey, employee engagement events etc.
- Responsible for staff administrative management including employment contract, new staff onboard & exit
- Payroll calculation and management, oversees salary administration; Monthly payroll changes administration;
- Compensation support on C&B tasks on data collection and consolidation;
- Issue income certificate and exit certificate;
- Participate in HR special projects as needed;
- Provide all general support of HR functions as needed;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skillset
- Bachelor degree in English, Administration or Human Resources;
- At least 4 years of experience as an HR Generalist and experience in C&B is a plus;
- General concept on HR daily operation and management;
- Detail oriented, patient and good interpersonal skills
- Able to work with structure and plans
- Good communication & coordination skills
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Team player and flexible
- Fluent speaking and writing in both mandarin and English.
