- Report to a Senior Legal Counsel/head of legal.
- Support multiple local business units and local group functions as may be assigned and adjusted.
- Develop a good working relationship with local business units and local group functions he or she is responsible for.
- Support corporate and project financing, finance leasing, restructuring and disposal of non-performance assets and collection of AR for the business.
- Support resolutions of disputes.
- Support personal data protection, and cyber security law matters.
- Draft and review sales and procurement agreements and provide comments.
- Assist in negotiation of contracts for the business.
- Support restructuring and liquidation of legal entities.
- Support corporate governance actions to maintain and update legal status of companies and branch offices.
- Analyze legal issues requested by local business units and local group functions and provide general legal advice and support.
- Deliver legal training; and be able to deal directly with internal clients and external parties.
- Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

- A Bachelor of Law degree from a reputable law school in China, a Master of Law degree from a reputable law school abroad or a JD from a reputable law school abroad will be a plus.
- Bar admission.
- More than eight years of post qualification experience practicing corporate law either as an associate at a reputable foreign or Chinese law firm or in a major MNC.
- Fluent English and Chinese language skills.
