321388 Technical Marketing Specialist

The position would directly report to Technical & development manager, below please refer to the job description:
Key performance areas:
· Support the implementation of the PA marketing and sales plan. Achieve established sales and profitability targets and to develop existing and new customers and applications.
· This position primarily is to demonstrate how Sandvik products can create values and meet customer requirement from technical aspects through various activities, process.
· This position has responsibilities as below
- To develop and continuously maintain a deep understanding of our tube products, the applications and processes in our customer's and the benefits of our tubular segments products against competition.
· Identify next best alternative material in the related application. And identify related product development needs.
- Actively search and develop new applications, establish knowledge and value arguments; Provide Sales people training and support to enter into new applications.
- To be a source of technical and product expertise, provide support to sales activities, technical seminar, negotiations.
- To become an active representative and presenter for some important conference related to our tubes to promote Sandvik.
- Analysis the data and assist the technical& development manager for activity planning.
- To develop and maintain key customer and industry contacts to drive specification of Sandvik alloys in key industries and equipment with end-users, licensors, OEMs, design institutes etc.
- Support New Product introduction to the markets.
- Evaluate impact of potential technology shifts, Identify opportunities for forward integration and application development for our tubes.
- Continuous development and documentation of VBS tools.
- Primary product focus is High temperature products and applications.
- Be the source of training for technical aspects , both products, and applications,
· Basic requirement
- To work proactively to contribute for a high performing team, consist of field sales, inside sales & technical marketing resources, and global contacts.
- To document activity plans, application reports, visit reports, call reports.
- To recognize and report market intelligence.
Your profile:
· Work experience in metallurgy industry is must.
· Dealing with High temperature products or applications is preferred.
· Min. 5 years working experience.
· Experience working with Sales, technical support gives a plus.
· Must be computer literate and have good communication, interpersonal, analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
· Prepare to travel a lot, enthusiasm, initiative, right attitude and a good team player.
· Must be able to communicate in English, both verbal and writing.
· Be good at making presentations to group, run discussions, dialogues. Communication effectively.
As a person you are proactive, self-motivated and one with lot of initiative, courage and integrity and a business minded, result oriented attitude. You also have strong communication skills and can work in an English environment.
