In the job as sales assistant for Bonded Services International, you are responsible to assist Bonded to further strengthen her position within the CBE-logistics & customs clearance markets. Your main activities will be, but are not limited to; filing contracts, keeping good administration on legal agreements with customers based in China and abroad, joining both cold and warm sales meetings on-site in China’s Pearl River Delta (PRD) area, assist with the creation of new service products, joining trade events, reach out and follow up with new and existing clients, conduct market research and form a ‘bridge’ between our team in The Netherlands and greater China.

    

    

You will assist the Sales Manager in his daily activities in China and with that also support the customer services, finance and other departments based in Europe.

Accountabilities

• Provide excellent service to customers by understanding that sales means helping customers making the right decisions
• Sustain high customer satisfactory service level through account management
• Follow up customer inquiries
• Ensure customer satisfaction to retain customers
• Collaborate with the team to achieve the team objectives
• Communicate with oversea offices / agents for shipment processing / customs issues
• Assist ad hoc projects as assigned
• Hold a strict and neat administration, filing all relevant documents and agreements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in logistics or business administration
• Minimum 2 years' working experience in account management & sales, preferably in logistics and e-commerce
• Knowledge of MS Office applications and WeChat
• Proficiency in verbal and written English and Mandarin

• Be assertive and self-driven
• Good communication skills and analytical skills
• Customer service oriented with good telephone and meeting manners
• Pleasant personality, mature, independent and able to work under pressure
• Understanding of the difference in “Chinese way of resolving disputes VS West-European way of resolving disputes”
• Understanding of West-European office culture and “ways West European business approach things VS Chinese businesses approach things”
