DESCRIPTION

The role of an Engineer, System Verification is to create and run tests to prove that the system meets its design requirements and is both safe and effective.

RESPONSIBILITIES

? In conjunction with the development team, ensure that test plans and procedures are in place in order to adequately test new products and product updates.

? Develop and verify the adequacy of test procedures.

? Run approved test procedures on products.

? Ensure that all formal test activities are properly recorded and that the resultant records are filed in the appropriate project file.

? Assist with problem troubleshooting and resolution.

? Strive to continually develop and improve test methods, tools and techniques.

Skills

?  Thorough understanding of the intended use of new products, coupled with the ability to translate this understanding of the requirements into structured and comprehensive test plans and procedures.

?  Use of available tools and processes to generate and implement test plans.

?  Ability to accurately follow and document prescribed test procedures and observe/identify unexpected system behaviour.

?  Familiar with operating Elekta linear accelerators.

?  Familiar with setting up test equipment precisely.

?  bachelor degree or above in computer, automation, electronic, physics or related fields.

?  Quality conscious.

?  Accurate and Flexible.

?   good English written&spoken

?  5 years or more of experience on software and system testing.

?  2-3 years of experience in Winrunner, Quicktest pro or other automated test tools are highly desirable for Test Engineers
