Job Title:             GL and Reporting Supervisor 

Job Purpose  (State in one sentence the overall objective of the job)

Responsible for financial accounting for Medela Greater China. Facilitate the design and implementation of accounting systems that will provide information for external and internal financial reporting, control, and analysis. Facilitate the implementation of sound accounting policies and instructions and internal control for Medela

Greater China.

Major Accountabilities  (Describe the main results of the job to be achieved )

1.        Ensure proper accounting procedures and policies are followed for PRC & Swiss reporting.

2.        Assist in the coordination of timely, accurate, consistent, completing and customer responsive accounting and reporting to provide necessary information to manage the business and attain profitability objective.

3.        Assist and coordinate quarterly forecast and yearly budget on time and continually improve the internal process of forecast and budget more effective and efficient.

4.        Prepare and maintenance the accuracy in both group and local system. Continually tracking the product IC margin to ensure the consolidated financial result accurately.

5.        Prepare Medela Greater China Inter-company accounting voucher relating to Journal Entries, AR, AP, Manual Payments and all accounting transactions.

6.        Manage and ensure month-end closing schedule, prepare for the monthly group financial report timely and accurately.

7.        Coordinate BS reconciliation between all sub-accounts and general ledger, follow up the outstanding balance by internal process improvement.

8.        Responsible for Medela Shanghai all tax issues, include tax declaration, every month tax meeting, provide necessary information for helping Beijing tax declaration.

9.        Manage and coordinate fixed assets records in both PRC and Swiss contain accurate and complete information. Involves in physical FA procedures and processing.

10.    Assist internal and external audit.

11.    Other ad hoc works

Ideal Background  (State the minimum and desirable education and experience level)

Education: Bachelor degree with major in Finance or related area. Solid knowledge of PRC accounting standards and is preferred
