Caterpillar is looking for an energetic recruiting professional to develop a strong campus recruiting framework.

JOB DUTIES: Collaborate with leaders, HR, and business function groups across all business in China to provide a strategic campus recruiting framework.

Partner to ensure employer branding, recruiting technology and strategic partnerships are effective and enable our success.

Collaborate to design and manage the early-talent recruiting pipeline to deliver the right talent at scale.

Leverage, analyze, and report internal and external data to identify trends and business insights that inform recruiting strategy, early-talent workforce planning, and results.

Oversee university marketing, faculty relations, and student programs.

School Selection & Cultivation:

Manage school selection for Caterpillar Campus Recruiting. Use objective criteria to select targeted schools. Regularly re-asses school selection based on yield and changing marketplace demographics.

Create investment strategies for each school. Using a tiered approach, develop relationships with professors, deans, and career counseling offices that create inroads to top talent. Create speaker and event series that position Caterpillar as an employer-of-choice.

Work with the employment brand and communications teams to develop marketing and out-bound messaging strategies to attract students at each school. Oversee all campus marketing channels including Caterpillars campus careers site, Campus LinkedIn pages, and Campus job boards if applicable

Deliver campus messaging and marketing by function to deliver a consistent and cohesive candidate experience.

Manage marketing and event budget, ensuring ROI on all spend.

Cultivate summer-intern alum to serve as campus ambassadors.

Maximize diversity hiring on campus.

Interview and Assessment: Identify and implement the appropriate assessment tools for the selection process. Engage the business in selection decisions, while maintaining a high bar for selected talent. Program Design & Management:Partner to forecast Campus hiring needs, expected conversion rates, and required skills. Establish, measure, and report clear recruiting goals. Work with the Total Rewards Team and the business, on a compensation strategy that delivers the right caliber of talent to Caterpillar. Design and oversee the right candidate process from initial outreach through hiring and offer generation. Leverage current campus recruiting technology platforms while co-leading efforts to identify new tools focused on improving and tracking Campus recruiting workflows and results. Automate the administrative components of Campus hiring (scheduling, travel, event management) and / or design light-weight, back-end processes. Leadership: Build strong relationships with HR colleagues, peers, schools, candidates, and business leaders to ensure open communication and effective service delivery.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

Undergraduate degree required, advanced degree preferred.

5+ years of professional experience, especially in University Recruiting.

Top Candidates will also have:

Expertise in change management to deliver efficiency, productivity, and increase business impact.

Proficient in developing talent pipeline strategies to support business needs.

Deep expertise in leveraging data to create business insights and inform decisions.

Strong orientation towards execution and solutions.

Demonstrated ability to improve processes and measure results.

Team player with open and candid communication style; highly regarded team leadership skills including performance management, strategic planning and talent development.

High level of integrity coupled with strong client-service orientation.

Undergraduate degree required, advanced degree preferred.
