As our HR Manager for the Shanghai Studio you will be responsible for creating and deploying strategies to strengthen the organization's people capabilities and ensure it has the talent to meet current and future business needs with a focus on establishing talent acquisition programs that positively strengthen the organization's capabilities in attracting, assessing, selecting and on- boarding the right talent in the right place at the right time as well as be a true HR business partner to the Managing Director for the Shanghai studio.
You will actively handle relationships to ensure internal and client satisfaction as well as excellent candidate experience through evaluating the current use of talent acquisition processes and tools; analyze metrics and qualitative data to assess performance and compliance.
You will work closely with business leaders and other HR partners across the region to gather input and continuously educate on the process, with an emphasis on exploring ways to improve the employee experiences in the Shanghai studio
Responsibilities:
Be HR department lead and responsible for the full spectrum of human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, payroll, training, compensation, performance evaluation, organisational development and labour relations;
In partnership with business unit leaders, lead end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing, screening, interviewing, salary negotiation, offering, work visa application, to onboarding;
Provide HR services in line with corporate policies & procedures to the designated Departments;
Build and promote organisation culture, create a passionate workforce, enhance organisation cohesiveness and staff loyalty, as well as nurture creativity in the workplace;
Review employment related legislation changes and related implementation plan;
Compile HR analytical reports and documents on a regular basis for management review;
Maintain accurate HR records and handle confidential information with high integrity.
Anticipate the needs of the organisation and provide proactive and self-directed solutions;
Review the performance of HR services vendors (i.e. payroll handling vendor, group medical insurers) and provide proposals to management;
Handle any HR related ad hoc projects (i.e. student internship) and internal group projects / initiatives.
Requirements:
Degree holder in Human Resources Management or related disciplines;
At least 8 years' relevant experience preferably gained from sizeable multinational organisations;
Outstanding stakeholder management and interpersonal skills; confident to work with department leads in a multinational work environment;
Strong critical thinking with a high sense of responsibility;
Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and under pressure and are willing to take on new challenges;
In-depth knowledge of Chinese Labour Law;
Excellent command in English and Chinese.
