Core Responsibilities

? Ensuring compliance to global standards, procedures and processes within Fire Safety.
? Understand legal requirement and translate into recommendation for specific solutions for LEGO operation and construction projects. Provide clear, value adding and specific guidance and solutions.
? Act as link between our Global Risk department, Insurance Company and LEGO operation and projects.
? Represent the global facility organization in networks (internal as well as external) on questions relating to Global Fire Safety.
? Input provider to LEGO standards
? Attend in fire safety audits both during construction and operation.

Corporate Facility Engineering is a vital part of various types of projects across TLG providing technical guidance and solutions within technical installations. In this work we ensure compliance with internal standards and legislation.
In the role as fire specialist you will be participating in a broad range of construction projects being the fire specialist across many disciplines. By that we ensure we are in compliance, and deliver smart solutions together with subject matter experts across disciplines.

Do you have what it takes?

? Engineering degree within construction, mechanical engineering or similar
? Relevant education/courses/certification within fire regulations
? 5+ years experience with Fire Safety
? 3+ years of experience from construction projects being part of design - and construction phase.
? 3+ years of experience working with fire safety on manufacturing sites
? 3+ years of experience working on large global manufacturing company.
? Up to 60 travel days per year
? Ability to deliver strong results by applying expert knowledge in a broader functional context
? Actively seeks opportunities for continuously improving the specialist knowledge within own area
? Good collaboration and communication skills.
? English Level 13-16 (written and spoken)
