·         Rollup and present the monthly actual/forecast results to various Executive levels in the organization providing strategic recommendations for improvement as required.

·         Support China & APAC factories, engineering & assorted function groups while indirectly leading a team of assigned analysts.

·         Ability to explain complex financial situations to all levels of employees including entry level to Senior Executive.

·         Partner with China and APAC Managing Directors/Finance Directors on strategic topics for the business.

·         Complete and provide support as needed working with assigned analysts on Factory controlling duties which include: 

o   Monthly reviews of standard cost and leading annual standard costing process

o   Develop monthly standard cost audit checks, driving accuracy

o   Inventory management including cycle counts and forecasting of inventory (Balance Sheet)

o   Monthly forecast, annual budget and monthly actual to budget/forecast variance causal

o   Absorption/cost management

o   Monthly review of work load/capacity calculation (SIOP)

o   Headcount management

o   Overall controlling of the manufacturing departments of all sites.

·         Complete and provide support as needed working with assigned analysts on Engineering duties which include: 

o   Supporting local operations and finance teams in cost center planning, rate calculations

o   Monthly forecast, annual budget planning, monthly actual to forecast/budget variance causal

o   Absorption/cost management

o   Workload/capacity calculation (SIOP)

o   Headcount management

o   Overall controlling of the departments

·         Support Indirect Cost Centers [Procurement, Quality, and EHS&S] on a monthly basis.

·         Ability to quickly analyze trends of business climate changes and how those impact the businesses supported.

·         Assist in the review and correlation to changes of new orders and sales to the overall financial view of the business both in terms of factory (plant) and labor capacity.

·         Support annual budget process within the functions assigned from creation of cost center creation and overhead/hourly rates.

·         Ability to critically look at own area team and processes and implement processes changes that drive rapid efficiency gains.

·         Partner with Finance senior leadership on initiatives that are global in nature but impact the local business.  Must have an ability to translate global direction into local results.

·         Provide mentorship and develop a dynamic team of Financial Analysts.

Support Global and Local Vice Presidents and Sr Director, Finance on special ad hoc analysis.

• Completed 4-year Bachelor of Science degree with a strong concentration in Finance and/or Accounting is required. 
• 15 years’ experience in a financial role in an operations company, with 8 years as a manager is required. 
• Exposure to Percent of Completion Accounting is preferred.
• Exposure to a manufacturing environment and standard costing is required.
• Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 
• Experience with SAP is given strong consideration.
• Exceptional analytical, critical reasoning, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to be well organized, learn new tasks quickly, define process improvements, and strive for success.
• Travel both within China/APAC region and Internationally as required for success in the role.
