Job Summary (Purpose of the job)

Under guidance, provides technic support for software & platform building, management and maintenance

Major Duties Performed (Main Functions)

• Crawl web pages, gathering necessary information to support internal /external statistical projects and requirements.
• Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate programming language, database, and programming technology
• Maintain existing software programs; make approved changes by developing detailed programming logic and coding changes
• Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies
• Write and maintain documentation for software projects

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or Information Systems or 2-3 years professional programming experience desired
• HTML and Java-script experience is desired
• Python development experience is desired
• SQL development experience is preferred
