REQUIREMENT:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• At least 10 years logistics / freight forwarding experience
• At least 4 years in management/supervisory position, solid background in all areas of Ocean Freight operations are required
• Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin & local language
• Specific Trade Lane experience related to the in charge department/division.
• Communication and management skills

RESPONSIBILITY:

Summary 

  

• Plan, organize, direct and control day-to-day ocean operation activities.

• Set up and execute periodically working target.

• Internal, inter-branches, inter-parties, standard work flow developing and monitoring.

• Ensure optimization of profitability through balancing of revenue, cost and service.

• Evaluate department/division work distribution and working quality.

  

1. Select, train, develop, motivate and monitor performance of direct reports

2. Guide and assist operation account teams in following SOP and meeting agreed internal and external KPIs

3. Coach and monitor operation account teams to provide good customer service

4. Support operation account teams in resolving issues

5. Monitor the operation efficiency and seek for improvement opportunities to achieve optimum profitability

6. Monitor performance of service providers

7. Maintain good relationship with customers, carriers, co-loaders and other service providers

8. Compile periodic performance report for upper management

9. Other duties as assigned to the position
