What Will You Be Doing?

• Direct and Indirect tax filings for APAC region
• Provide key operational and financial business support for APAC stores
• Coordinate with local accounting firms to prepare filing documents and support audit work
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, book journal entries and provide support for expense fluxuations
• Drive efficiency and standardization across all activities
• Strengthen accounting controls in monthly close and annual STAT processes
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot payment issues
• Support daily and weekly payment process for Accounts Payable team
• Finish ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor

What Do You Need to Bring?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional proficiency in Japanese

· 2+ years of relevant experience in corporate tax, finance, and accounting (Big4 candidates are welcome)

· Preferably Direct and Indirect tax experience with preparing a filing with local authorities

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, creative, engaged, flexible team player
• Retail experience preferred, but not required
• Adaptable in fast-paced environments
