Position Statement
The Human Resources Officer is responsible for the day to day administration and operations of the human resources functions.
The Human Resources Officer is responsible for carrying out and supporting responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: recruitment and selection, employee relations, policy review/interpretation and business partnership.
As a collective HR team, the responsibilities extend to promoting the development of an ethical, inclusive and diverse organizational culture. A culture that is based on respect and values, in which all are able to contribute in a context of open information and dialogue, acceptance of continual change and focus on professional leadership and personal accountability.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Business Partnership
Support Managers by responding to all HR enquiries.
Ensure all HR Administrative tasks are actioned and completed in a timely manner.
Support the process for conducting all pre-employment checking, such as immigration and criminal working checks.
Prepare HR documentation such as employment contracts and variations where required.
Ensure all HR records and information related to individual employees or employment related matters are maintained to required standards.
Support conducting reviews of HR documentation and processes such as policies, procedures, processes and forms.
Assist in preparing new hire training material.
Recruitment, Selection and Retention
Manage the recruitment activities for allocated client groups.
Manage relationships with preferred suppliers.
Manage the induction and orientation process.
Respond to candidate enquiries and the recruitment process, including pre employment screen interviewing and reference checks in line with company policies and relevant legislation.
Ensure a working awareness and understanding of appropriate immigration and visa requirements remains current.
Employee Relations Management
Support conducting a regular audit and review of the human resource management practices to ensure compliance with corporate policies and legislative requirements.
Adhere to and administer company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Policy Review and Interpretation
Support the existing policy review process to ensure that policies are maintained and updated in line with the version control requirements.
Assist managers and employees with routine policy information and interpretation.
Continuous Improvement on Service Delivery
Actively identify problems and issues that could cause problems in providing services to Crown Worldwide employees.
Performance Management
Coordinate probationary reviews.
Provide advisory support to line, middle and senior managers on performance related matters (i.e. disciplinary for misconduct, unsatisfactory performance, or on the other hand reward and recognition for high performers)
Assist and advise the termination process effectively to reduce exposure to litigation.
Corporate Social Responsibility
Ensure the HR function is aligned with the business's sustainability strategy by providing sustainability awareness training for all employees. Develop HR programmes which support the Sustainability strategy, may include community involvement and volunteering programmes and or environmental activities undertaken by employees.
Learning and DevelopmentEnsure the Learning and Development activity is recorded accurately each month.
Prepare and deliver training across the business that relates to HRM practices and or initiatives.
Ensure the Learning and Development activity is aligned to the Corporate Strategy.
Other
Demonstrate and promote the company vision and values.
