Job Profile
We are looking for someone who is experienced in creating long term and successful client partnerships in China and who thrives in a consultative sales culture.
A track record of consultative and conceptual selling would be a great asset together with a background in HR, Organizational Development, training processes with Hi-tech (.COM) industry experience.
Primary responsibilities will be:
· To develop new and existing business that will enable the business to grow aggressively and strategically within the next few years.
· To be an integral part of the APAC management team that is involved in making important decisions concerning the organization’s future.
· Build and develop, from the ground up, a sales and account management team that will enable the organization to meet it growth targets.
· To lead sales and marketing initiatives that will enable our organisation to become the most recognizable name in performance improvement solutions in China.
· To build lasting relationships with Hi-tech industry customers, working alongside our consultancy team.
- To qualify customers and their needs and then be able to build value propositions around our products and services that will match the customer’s needs.
· To help deliver effective solutions for the client.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate might be:
· A successful business development manager or sales leader with a proven track record and extensive network within a similar service/consulting sector in China
· An established and well connected HR, Talent searching or Learning professional within a business who has demonstrable sales & networking abilities.
· A Business Development Executive, Account Executive or Project Manager for an agency that has rich experience in High-tech industries.
· A connected and entrepreneurial business development person who is engaged and motivated by being part of a business that makes a significant difference to its clients.
The following attributes are essential:
- Fluent Mandarin and proficient in English.
· Proven business development skills.
· Access to a strong, existing network of client contacts
· Ability to develop strong and trusting relationships in China, at all levels in an organization.
· Ability to think strategically when viewing sales issues and opportunities.
· Outstanding listening and consulting skills.
· Outstanding communication, influencing and presentation skills.
· Ability to write impactful proposals.
· Intellectually curious and passionate about learning.
· Being determined and self-motivated.
· Able to work equally well alone or as part of a team.
· Be able to travel frequently.
· Committed to being honest and always acting with integrity.
- Agile, fast learner who is comfortable working in a growing, fast paced and ever changing environment.
- A passion for leadership, coaching and/or employee engagement is a plus
