The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst performs a wide range of planning, reporting, research and analysis duties for multiple business stakeholders. The desired analyst must have the ability to conduct financial analysis, meet required deadlines, make budget control and drive business decision making.

Job Description:

• Responsible for monthly financial close, forecast process and budget activities to contribute to a better business awareness and resource planning, e.g. P&L, cash flow reporting and budget consolidation.
• Conduct financial analysis and process improvement to fulfil the need for finance follow up, business planning and internal control with other functions, mainly commercial and Marketing departments.
• Assists the finance team by compiling and summarizing market data, competitor information, benchmark data on a periodical basis
• Interact with managers, staff and peers across the organization to assist with other ad-hoc analytical requests

Basic Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related fields
• 3-5 years of quantitative experience working in public accounting, financial planning or corporate rotational-finance trainee areas
• Strong MS Excel skills including advanced functions to analyze large datasets is a must
• Experience working with large quantities of data and a demonstrated aptitude for analyzing data and communicating analysis to business stakeholders
• Good interpersonal skill, attention to details, strong sense of responsibility and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic fast-paced environment

Desired Skills

• Knowledge with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting mechanism and applications; proficiency working within an ERP system (Yonyou NC or Oracle) is strongly preferred
• Experience in reporting process, e.g. P&L / cash flow analysis is a plus
• Working knowledge in accessing and processing data with VBA or SQL server is a plus
• Prior experience in Payment, Card Business or Consumer Finance industry
