DC/DC Field Application Engineer

Candidates must have a good background in analog electronics, with key emphasis on DC/DC power conversion circuits and magnetics used in the design of switch mode power supplies. Strong analytical skills and hands-on design experience are a must. As part of our winning FAE team, you will be responsible for customer design support in China and Hong Kong. The role will focus on supporting customers during the power supply design stage and will require the designing and building of power supplies and transformers as well as the writing of detailed and clear test reports. Additionally, the successful candidate will have the responsibility for training customers and distributors in designing power supplies using iWatt products. This position will require frequent travel in China.

Job Requirements:

·BSEE with emphasis on power electronics or equivalent.

·Three years of experience designing switch mode power supplies. Proficient in buck, boost topology design and applications, the power level in more than 50W

·Experience with DC/DC switch mode power supply testing and analysis.

·Excellent interpersonal skills and the capability to work in a culturally diverse team environment.

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·Familiar with LCD TV system theory is preferred;

·large-size LCD backlighting driver circuit design experience is preferred;

·MCU programming is preferred.
