Introduction

The Project Leader of Engineering Delivery Management (EDM) position is working in HMI Development and Engineering (D&E) Beijing site. This position is responsible for project management of D&E deliverables and driving D&E processes improvement for D&E organization capability and efficiency. This includes being the linking pin between D&E sites and cross sectors (e.g. Manufacturing, Customer Support, … etc.) To make sure these creative design engineers can deliver innovative complex designs successfully in a way that new product can be manufactured and serviced in a short timeframe and with a high success rate.

He/she will also be the responsible to assure delivery’s quality and timing through early phase; starting in specification and concept phase of new design developments up to ready for industrialization.

Job Description

As an EDM Project Leader, you are using your technical knowledge, analytic thinking and excellent people skills, you’ll coordinate the teams of D&E and make sure that their deliveries meet the performance, quality and timing requirements. By collecting the feedback from related sectors (e.g. Manufacturing, Customer Support, Programs, … etc.), you’ll enable HMI D&E management team to make the right adjustment on the priorities and resources.

• Monitor D&E delivery Metrics (KPI) with related departments in D&E;
• Coordinate the deliveries’ priority to follow project master plan; Review the delivery’s performance, quality and timing, and summary the potential risks;
• Support D&E teams to deliver outputs to meet quality and timing requirements;
• Prevent non-qualify factors caused by design or SOP.

Education

Bachelor and higher or equivalent experience. Engineering or Business Administration background is preferred.

Experience

Preferably over 3~5 years of experience in engineering or business administration (or equivalent education) in a high-tech environment with complex electrical modules.
