Core Responsibilities

• Accountable on the key electronic component selection, such as acoustic, MCU, connectivities, power management, under quality perspective at the front end / R&D phase.
• Setting up quality criteria for electronic testing solutions on managing appropriate quality level with the consideration of industrial practice.
• Evaluate electronic component design house/suppliers performance, define the Critical To Quality for component and production, provide professional choices for productivity and quality leverage
• Share responsibility on the key electronic component suppliers performance with R&D electronic engineering, and procurement function, secure the performance of component as well as suppliers
• Responsible to setup the quality related Statement of Work or agreement in connection to the electronic component quality requirement, warranty and internal consumer feedback flow to suppliers.
• Drive special project for design house/ suppliers including Must-Win-Battle, Confidentiality and new suppliers' selection.
• Investigate all electronic component claim with suppliers and setting up the cross team process, if relevant

Our primary objective is ensuring our products deliver from external suppliers has to fulfil the LEGO Quality Approach - non-negotiable product safety requirements and premium play experience to children. With sustainable growth in the organization, more and more focus on digital play and global presence across all potential markets, QA Asia is putting more focus on digital play and electronic toys' capability particularly on the R&D phase to ensure the right quality at start, this applies to both product and supplier level of focus. The extension of focus will continue to build such capabilities in Corporate Quality as well as the functional teams or department to achieve the reliability and productivity goal.

Do you have what it takes?

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related subjects
• Formal education or studies in Six Sigma and quality tools on development including statistical analysis
• 10+ years working experience on electronic component verifications
• Solid R&D experience on acoustic, connectivity, MCU and sense on the market dynamics is essential
• Capability on productivity optimization on the choice of component with most stable performance
• Experience on interaction with EMS on problem solving and root cause analysis between assembly line and electronic component manufacturer.
• Expected to be proactive and have a say on quality perspective, and also able to collaborate on team work.
• Visit Manufacturer on site for problem solving when necessary
• Previous experience on global supply chain communication
• Able to work remotely with the team as well as suppliers.
• Team player but clear logical voice
