BASIC FUNCTION 

Provide technical support, service and warranty support & technical training to distributors, OEMs, dealers, and customers for diesel engine.   

  

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Job description:

  

• Support in developing a successful business and service model that can integrate and service to aftermarket service channels.

• Technical support for both customer and dealer to solve the engine claims rapidly

• Key customer service interface to get engine issue feedback rapidly.

• Provide engine training to dealers and OEMs for both overhaul level and product level.

• Deal with critical service case in site.

• Quality issue supporting with quality team.

• Ensure applicable product compliance requirements are upheld including but not limited to the Clean Air Act, California Code of Regulation and California Health and Safety Code.

• Other tasks assigned by managers.             

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

 Requirement:

  

• University graduate in Internal combustion engine, mechanical or electrical engineering.

• At least 5 years diesel engine working experience, field service engineer is plus.

• Basic electrical control system knowledge   `

• Aftertreatment system knowledge perfected.  

• Proficient written English, Spoken English is plus.  

• Proficient PC skills.

• Diesel driven machine matching experience preferred.

• Willingness to travel frequently.

• Working experience in foreign invested companies preferred 

   

                      

RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS 

-Supervisory Relationships:Reports to Sr.Mgr-Technical Service, Kohler Engines China 

-Organization Relationships:Frequent contacts with all departments including teams of US and Italy.

-External Business Relationships:Frequent contacts with distributors, dealers, OEMs.
