Roles & Responsibilities

-Develop advanced processes for the new programs.

-Ensure the programs can be manufactured in their expected location, the Facility & Tooling and quality expectation of the program be met as well.

-Collaborate with Product Engineering a Program deliverables processes for the Final Assembly area of Vehicle Manufacturing, including design-for-assembly feasibility, Process Sheet and Control Plan, etc.

-Identify and resolve issues during the vehicle design phase by follow the Final Assembly standards(Standard Cells, modularity) to achieve acceptable Design-For-Manufacturing outcomes (Feasibility / Safety / Quality / Cost, etc.)

-Identify and develop facility requirements to support vehicle assembly, that meet program Safety, Quality & Cost targets.

-Network with the broader Final Assembly teams (other implementation teams, advanced engineering & Core engineering) in great China and globally, to ensure successful launch of new model programs into multiple plants

-Coordinate support to the Advanced Programs team, for New Tech feasibility study of future programs.

-Support China plants to resolve manufacturing issues, through application of standard process, facility & tooling

-Support Regional Councils to Drive Innovation, Manufacturing Strategy, Investment Efficiency, Labor Optimization, Process Development and Methods Alignment.

Qualifications & Skills Required

-Bachelor degree or above in Manufacturing Engineering or similar.
-Preferred Major: Automotive Engineering, Industry Engineering Mechanical/Electrical Design.
-Proactive team player, excellent communication skills, can-do attitude.
-Excellent Office software like Excel and PowerPoint skills.

-Knowledge of Auto CAD, CATIA etc. systems would be a significant advantage.

-Proficient oral and written English skills.
