Roles & Responsibilities

-Coordinate the development of new coating technologies from idea phase to concept feasibility

-Develop methodologies to assess material performance and durability to improve both initial and long term customer satisfaction.

-Develop design of experiments to evaluate and define unique technologies.

-Initiate release of approved material for production use at assemble plants.

-Coordinate benchmark studies for material and related processes

-Establish material optimum process parameters for maximum material performance

-Solve significant problem with respect to paint materials

-Maintain an up to date knowledge of technical development throughout the coating industry

-Develop advanced processes for the new programs.

-Develop the delivery plan for each milestone for the program.

-Ensure the programs can be manufactured in their expected location, the Facility &Tooling and quality expectation of the program be met as well.

-Ensure new model programs follow the correct process and ensure all forward planning tools are correctly

-Issue solution for plants’ pain points of process and facility&tooling, contribution of Ford innovation.

-Develop and enter Manufacturing Lesson learned items after each build phase.

Qualifications & Skills Required

-Master degree in Chemical Engineering & Technology, Polymer Science & Technology, Material Science & Technology or similar.

-Proactive team player, excellent communication skills, can-do attitude.

-Excellent Office software like Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.

-Data driven approach to analytical problem solving, and process robustness;

-Proficient oral and written English skills.
