Roles & Responsibilities

-Create the facility layout in AutoCAD file.

-Ensure the programs can be manufactured in their expected location, the Facility & Tooling and quality expectation of the program be met as well.

-Develop advanced processes for the new programs, ensure new programs follow the correct process and ensure all forward planning tools are correctly applied including Manufacturing Feasibility checks and virtual build events.

-Study manufacturing feasibility from product and process perspectives according to Ford standard, and develop countermeasures with cross function teams.

-Work with the program management teams and JV teams to ensure the balance of corrective action going forward and affordability are key targets to new model programs

-Work with PD in producing a new model program capable of being produced within the China production sites.

-Ensure all High Hurts and Lessons Learnt that may affect the new model launch are corrected or addressed or have established workplans to resolve.

-Develop and enter Manufacturing Lesson learned items after each build phase.

-Rollout of latest manufacturing engineering feasibility tools.

-Any other supporting work.

Qualifications & Skills Required

-Master degree in Manufacturing Engineering or similar.

-Preferred Major: automotive Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Design or Material Science and Technology.

-Proactive team player, excellent communication skills, can-do attitude.

-Excellent Office software like Excel and PowerPoint skills.

-Knowledge of Auto CAD, CATIA etc. systems would be a significant advantage.

-Proficient oral and written English skills.
