Job Summary (Purpose of the job)

Manages the marketing plan & activities within IQVIA China (R&D, Commercial Business Units) targeted for a specific marketing audience. 

Major Duties Performed (Main Functions)

• Drive brand campaigns to drive awareness among target audience 
• Engage / align with business to drive contents to promote business products and offerings 
• Managing short and long-term marketing planning, BD focused offline activities and promotions to contribute to client satisfaction with the product; 
• Managing digital media channels and digital contents to engage with target audience, creative positive word of mouth
• Assisting in thought leadership activities (both online and offline) 
• Managing market research activities, providing input into the development and execution of the offering(s) in the annual Marketing Plan; 
• Gathering competitive intelligence to ensure product superiority and customer satisfaction; 
• Marketing promotion functions, and pricing development that contributes to the long term success of the offering(s). 
• Serves as offering(s) expert for the customer and sales organization, and provides support at client meetings.
• Provides input into business cases regarding the definition of new offerings and line extensions. 
• Establish a positive relationship with internal business teams to understand business, culture and china market, to promote our services more effectively 
• Managing external agencies and marketing expenses.  
• Work with external partners to drive effective cross brand campaigns 

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of two (2) years related Marketing experience.  
• Good understanding of the use of the IQVIA China business offerings in the customer environment strongly preferred. 
• Pharmaceutical industry knowledge preferred. Digital marketing experience is a plus
• Digital /advertising/ communication agency background preferred.  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
• Strong problem solving, analytical, project management and planning skills.
