Supply Chain Operation Manager

Team/Job Description

Coupang Global team is seeking a dynamic and motivated Supply Chain Operation Management for the Coupang Global business. This person must be entrepreneurial by nature with responsibility for contributing to a positive customer delivery experience on Coupang’s global selection as a part of a fun, diverse, and global-experienced team. The main responsibility will be management, control, and direction for the 3PL warehouse and cross border carriers, launching new projects to support business growth, maintaining high standard of customer delivery experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for managing and controlling performance, cost and capacity of third-party warehouse and logistics partners

·         Develop, maintain, and control Standard Operating Procedures for receiving, inventory management and fulfillment from 3PL warehouses; conduct audits and KPI reviews

·         Provide subject matter expertise of export operation and regulations, maintain standards, and deliver trainings to internal stakeholders

·         Develop and maintain strong communication processes to ensure smooth and efficient flow of accurate information across internal business teams and external fulfillment teams.

·         Contribute and lead major projects to support business and selection growth.

·         Set up operation mechanism and monitor metrics, perform audits to verify daily operation smoothness

·         Contribute to contract negotiations with our external fulfillment and logistics partners.

Basic Qualifications

·           5+ years’ experience of warehouse and international logistics operations within depth experience of Distribution and Fulfillment processes

·           Proven leadership experiences in a similar fast-paced process driven retail or e-Commerce, distribution/logistics environment

·           Knowledge of export business and customs clearance operations

·           Ability to drive business conversation in both Chinese & English

·           Strong data analysis, problem solving and project management skills.

·           Demonstrate ability to build strong working relationships with business partners and key stakeholders

 

Preferred Qualifications

·           Bachelor's degree in International trading, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or a related field

·           Ability to think both strategically and tactically in an ambiguous, high-energy, and fast paced environment

·           Advanced Excel skills is preferred
