Position:   PD&A Technical Support Manager-Bakery & Confectionery

Report to: PD&A Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct daily PD&A Bakery, Confectionery & PC  application activities. Consistently align and support PD&A Manager to achieve ADM WFSI China Bakery, Confectionery and PC business objectives. Well communication, support and align with PD&A Manager to execute team target.
2. Strong self-driving capability to lead Bakery & Confectionery innovation, and build up its technical innovation pool/stock to drive technical and business growth in ADM ( Important for KPI). E.g.  Functional gummy innovation, Bars/Snacks innovation etc.
3. Strong project management skills, Executive and independent handle assigned project properly, create product concept and develop new product together with cross function team. Optimize products according to customer requirement and solve technical problems
4. Visit key accounts in Bakery & Confectionery category and communicate properly with customer on product concepts / taste. Present products skill and technical support for the key customers to win business. Value appreciation receive from customer side to steady customer relationship.
5. Cross functional team cooperate, work with Marketing, Sales team and Flavor Creation Team to run internal ideation process, Strong marketing sense to deliver great concepts according to customer brief.
6. Responsible for the technical communication with Global PD&A, APAC PD&A etc.related group and teams. Participate global PD&A and APAC PD&A food expert team for technology or technical information sharing.
7. Support PD&A Director to execute lab daily job, lab safety, purchase comment supplements for application lab etc. Support department manager to conduct new staff skills training

Qualifications:

1. Food science or technology, Bachelor degree /Master degree.
2. Above 5-7 years working experience in Ingredient Company or Bakery/Confectionery company.
3. Bakery & Confectionery industry background, know its facility or equipment.
4. Good project management skills and Write clear/comprehensive reports
5. Highly motivated/passion and positive to get work done.
6. Excellent written and oral communication skills and Good interpersonal /team work skills
7. Fluent English, strong conversational and written skills
8. Knowledgeable in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and related programs for organizing data and summarizing test results.
