Join a fast-growing team working on design win AMD EPYC based x86 server and embedded products in OEM/ODM platforms and product lines in China market.

    

    

We are seeking a Senior Field Application Engineer for Server and Embedded team of AMD China. This position is located in Shenzhen.

    

    

You will be the Field Application Engineer responsible for providing technical support to multiple OEM, ODM and/or Mega Datacenter customers to design win AMD EPYC server and embedded products in their new platforms and product lines.

    

    

Required Experience and Skills

    

· 10 years of hands-on Server and/or embedded HW engineering experience with role of FAE, AE, and/or System Engineer.

    

· Familiar with X86 CPU architecture, and computer technology including DDR, PCIe, SATA, NVMe, SPI, USB, I2C.

    

· Familiar with MB design including schematic and layout, BIOS, Thermal, Power supply and management in server and embedded products.

    

· Hands on experience in server systems including hardware, software, networking and storage infrastructure.

    

· Capable of identifying and troubleshooting technical problems by him/her alone.

    

· Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin.

    

· Must be willing to travel up to 30-50%.

    

· Willing to work overtime when necessary.

    

    

Bonus Skills

    

· Knowledge on Network, Storage, 5G, Automation, and Edge computing is a plus.

    

· Hardware and software debug ability to quickly locate and isolate failures is a plus.

    

· Linux skills in performance tuning & optimization is a plus.

Education

    

· BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering is required.
