Job Purpose:

The process engineer mainly supports the Engineering manager of the project in

coordinating all the project design activities and mainly process activities. He/She will attend all technical meetings and design work during the project execution.

He/she will have to liaise with Shanghai back office and expert team in France to provide necessary process support to the project team.

Responsibilities:

• Process Engineering of environmental systems such as Waste to Energy, Hazardous Waste treatment plants, etc.;
• He/She shall be familiar with the following documents :Process Heat and Mass Balance, PID , Thermal calculation, water balance,  utilities balance, Equipment lists, layout, HAZOP report, and any other typical engineering document.
• Coordinate and review LDI/Supplier’s design, incl. MR, design document and drawings.
• Follow up incineration line process design similarly.
• Provide technical assistance to construction team during construction and operations team during commissioning.
• Support the Engineering manager in his/her day to day activity for all subjects related to process.
• Actively participate to PID review/Hazop review/Waste water design/etc..
• Follow up the compliance of the Design with EIA Decision.

Requirements:

·         Education: BsC in a relevant science (Environmental, Chemical Engineering…);

• Experience: 5 years of experience in engineering of chemical/petrochemical/power plants/environmental plants or other heavy industries or infrastructure projects as process engineer, process manager;
• Design firm and international engineering company’s experience would be appreciated.
• Language: Fluent in both written and speaking Bilingual Chinese & English.
• Communication / Organizational / Xls.

·         Able to travel and work all over China and to cope with different cultures.
