职位描述
· Trade Lane / Route Network Planning
i. Develop trade lane strategy, that supports corporate product strategy and that is aligned with business development (sales).
ii. Develop trade lane plan, including Volumes, revenues and gross profit. Coordination of data gathering, development of objective and action plan with the Corporate support.
iii. Implement and conduct trade lane performance management, provide monthly feedback to Global Head of Procurement on trade lane plan performance and outlook next month. (trade lane performance vs plan).
iv. Create competitive research and market studies on products and services for trade lanes.
· Capacity Planning and Management
i. Prepare and develop of the capacity plans based on the aggregation of short-term capacity forecast (1 month) and the negotiated carrier portfolio.
ii. Ensure the balancing of capacity demand and supply and provision of high-quality capacity plans for strategic sourcing initiatives within procurement.
iii. Analyze trade lanes and capacities based on cargo flows, carrier shares, net-achieved cost on respective trade lanes and align capacity planning.
iv. Track execution against plan with respect to volumes and margin development and initiate and track corrective actions as required.
v. Coordinate and execute short-term prioritization of customers in case of recurring capacity shortage in line with sales guidelines.
· Commercial Carrier and Subcontractor Management
i. Develop carrier evaluation methodology and guidelines.
ii. Monitor and control core carriers, coordinate local performance review and consolidate performance feedback for global review meetings and or/QBR meetings.
iii. Act as contact person for “across-Area” procurement issues internally and with carrier externally.
iv. Develop and maintain strong relationship with core carriers.
· Management of Buying Rate
i. Provide input to corporate tender team on buying rates, consolidation opportunities, and capacity constraints.
ii. Create and maintain buying rate visibility by implementing rate database on a global level.
iii. Manage and monitor the inland container moves of on-carriage transportation in the cost-optimal and most efficient matter.
iv. Identify saving opportunities in container transportation (pre-carriage, on-carriage) in close cooperation with the local organization, where applicable.
· Support of Sales function
i. Execute Sales strategy jointly with business development (sales) to fulfill given growth targets.
ii. Support area/country in creation of sales target list and in pricing issues for both FCL and LCL.
iii. Provide bid support to area/country and Corporate Tender Management on buying rates, consolidation opportunities, and network constrains incl. operational support, if needed.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or higher
2. Business Administration / Economics / Logistics or freight forwarding apprenticeship
3. Experience:Functional 2-5 years,Management:1 year
