ABB Power Grids offers power and automation products, systems and service solutions across the generation, transmission and distribution value chain - enabling a stronger, smarter and greener power grid.
To strengthen our Power Grids Customer Connect (PGCC) team, we are looking for an electrical engineer who will provide seamless tier 0/1/2 support to our customers and the global ABB service network along with supporting the marketing & sales teams through lead and opportunity management.
- Receiving Customer calls, E-mails, web enquiries and log good case in Sales force tool.
- Create leads based on customer interactions, assign and follow up with sales team to ensure customer gets offer within short period of time.
- Monitor Case Log hourly and daily basis and work internally and with customer to resolve and close open cases.
- Keep learning about Power Grid products and services and Cases to upgrade knowledge and skills to be able to increasingly resolve level 0 to level 2 type customer issues with minimal support from others in organization.
- Demonstrate empathy towards customer and work towards increasing customer satisfaction in every touchpoint with customer.
- Be a team member, be available to work in shift if need be to support 24/7 availability to customers.
- Develop and maintain good work relationship with all major stakeholders in China.
- Closely monitor cases & Leads for China, Spot and generate prospects for additional business.
- Maintain Close coordination with PGCC team located in India and other regions to help in seamless customer service.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
- A Bachelor’s degree or above in Sound electrical engineering background.
- 1-3 years of prior experience in Customer support role needed.
- Any experience of troubleshooting and/ or testing of GIS, HV equipment’s, transformers or similar electrical equipment in power plants/substations etc. will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, Interpersonal skills and ability to converse with customers in polite and effective manner though telephone or e-mail is a mandatory skill set.
- High focus on customers and their needs.
- Intrinsic attitude to drive innovation and improvement.
- Readiness to travel (approx. 10%) on global base i.e. for troubleshooting, trainings or customer meetings.
- Good command of Mandarin and English mandatory.
- Ability to communicate in other Asian language especially Korean, Japanese, Malay or Indonesian would be an advantage.
