Smarter, Stronger, Sustainable: Are you ready to make a real difference within Hitachi ABB Power Grids, the global leader in power technologies and the partner of choice for enabling greener power grids?  Kickstart your professional career and explore three different areas during our 18-month program for STEM Graduates.  Your assignments will be in in a variety of areas like; engineering, project management, operations, lean manufacturing, supply chain, service, business development, process improvement.  You’ll benefit from individual training and development plans, professional mentoring, exposure to executives, and build a global network of other graduates. The Power+ program sets you up for your first permanent role with us, and is the springboard for an exciting career where you can make a genuine contribution to society. 

Your responsibilities

-Join a team of experienced professional and work on a variety of projects where you have responsibility and challenges on each fi three different assignments (6 months each)

-Explore your interests through challenging and impactful projects where you are fully integrated into the team

-Actively participate in the graduate community with program participants from all the graduate program locations

-Develop your strengths with the help of regular feedback on your performance and clearly established performance objectives

-Actively contribute in diverse networking sessions across the organization with high exposure to middle and upper management 

Your background

-Master’s degree in engineering within STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology, Math) related degrees e.g.  electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, industrial engineering, energy systems engineering or a related discipline

-Ideally no more than 2 year of professional experience within your field of studies by the start date

-Excellent knowledge in English, additional languages are considered as advantage

-Great collaboration skills and intercultural sensitivity

-High level of drive and personal ownership

-A genuine interest in making the future of energy more sustainable, and ‘Powering good for sustainable energy’

Additional Important information: Start date of the program is July 2021. You will receive information about the time plan for the continued process in the notification after the first selection round. Date for assessment center which is the final step of the recruitment process is planned to take place by the end of January.
