Aim / purpose of the job

    

To coordinate the IT support for the business in China, by implementing initiatives based on company policies, that support the business strategy and ensure the reliability and effectiveness of the IT services in the country.

    

The IT Specialist works as a key contact and link between all functions, implementing and reinforcing the processes, policies and procedures needed to provide the company with reliable, modern and efficient information systems tools and resources.

    

    

Area of accountability #1: IT service delivery

    

Main activities :

    

-       Conduct inventory of IT services, systems & resources at Virbac China:

    

o   Antivirus installation, maintenance and update.

    

o   Hardware and software acquisition, installation and group policies implementation.

    

o   Network setup, maintenance and improvements.

    

o   Laptop/desktop acquisition, maintenance and control (new, transfer and leave)

    

o   Telecommunication equipment and services selection, implementation, maintenance, and control.

    

o   Servers maintenance and information backup.

    

o   License acquisition, maintenance, payment, and installation.

    

o   Scheduled training in the Company software and applications.

    

o   Technical support for: office appliance and network devices.

    

o   IT internal and external audit, applications control and hardware control.

    

-       Ensure availability & efficiency of IT services in China for all staff.

    

-       Responsible for user satisfaction with IT services.

    

-       Proactively identify IT risk factors and propose action plans for mitigation.

    

-       Act as ambassador for the group's IT governance & best practices.

    

-       Responsible for administration and maintenance of IT infrastructure in the country.

    

      

    

Area of accountability #2: Support Business Teams

    

-       Develop close relationships with the business teams to understand their needs and the overall business strategy.

    

-       Adapt and improve existing solutions to best fit the team’s needs and preferences.

    

-       Help draft business requirements for new IT projects to address emerging business needs.

    

-       Support in the Annual Budget preparation to tend to the Business needs. Control the approved IT OPEX and CAPEX expenditure.

    

-       Support the Company projects as a team member or lead IT projects.

    

    

Area of accountability #3: Coordinate with external partners

    

Main activities :

    

-       Coordinate IT projects between Virbac China team, external partners and group IT teams.

    

-       Support data exchanges between Virbac and it's business partners (supply chain, e-business, CRM, social media). Ensure that these exchanges are made efficiently, reliably and in compliance with Company policies and local regulations.

    

-       Responsible for preparing and controlling the external partners expenses Budget.

    

• DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  Academic
• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, IT Services Management or related field.
  Native or bilingual level Chinese speaker.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, written and spoken, in both business and technical context, is mandatory.
• Professional
• At least 2 years’ experience in IT service delivery.
• Working experience in IT helpdesk service, technical support and projects implementation.
• Other
  Experience with ERP systems – especially Kingdee ERP
• Database management & architecture – SQL Server
• Experience in CRM projects
• Desktop operating system: Windows 10
• Server operating system: Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2019, MS Active Directory
• G Suite
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Good communication skills.
• Customer-oriented, patient and cool-tempered.
