- Have the overall responsibility for technical solution and design new products and optimization in R&D projects in good co-operation with internal and external stakeholders. The responsibilities include technical solution, feasibility study, IP related, documentation, prototype, and verification and type tests etc.
- Using sound theoretical or in-depth knowledge of methods and technologies in material, insulation…etc to execute assignments, and build knowledge of related disciplines in instrument transformer. Acts as a leader and expert in customer problem solving, and proactively interacts within IT group to coordinate and build product provision and instruction. Leading and coordinate internal and external resources to qualify product as per marketing requirement within budget and requirement specification.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for own actions while caring for colleagues and the business to ensure adherence to safety standards and mitigates potential risks.
- Identify and manage technical risks taking preventive/corrective actions to resolve any quality/technical solution issues, report any outstanding issues to management, along with recommendations for resolution.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain function to ensure that product could be sourced and reasonably ordered. Provide technical evaluation of supplier proposals in respect to product cost, manufacturing procedure and qualify control.
- Use standard processes and tools applied in R&D, update and report frequently and correctly, and manage related stakeholders.

- A Master’s Degree and major in Engineering with subject of material, insulation, or mechanical.
- More than 8 years of work experience from R&D, Project Management, better with HV background. Multi-national company working experience is a plus.
- Expertise in MS Project, Professional level ability with MS Office tools.
- Open Mind and have cooperation spirit.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
