Activities:

Perform all duties necessary to receive, store, issue and package raw materials and assembled equipment in the storeroom area. The candidate must wrap, package, weigh, stencil and label materials and packaging. The employee will count and collect materials using a pick list and deliver them to the manufacturing area.

This includes transferring material to manufacturing, office and cleanroom pass-through. The employee will count inventory, package products and complete transactions in SAP and enter information in software systems.

Tool Use:

This position requires a working knowledge and safe use of hand tools, Experience with SAP, General PC operation including email and Microsoft Office tools is preferred.

Work Environment:

The position requires the employee to work within a temperature controlled warehouse area, brief periods outside the facility retrieving products from storage containers and cleanroom pass-though environment. In the cleanroom pass-through the employee will wear a cleanroom hair cover, face cover with Latex or Nitrile gloves.

Skill Set:

The candidate must be a self starting, motivated individual with good written and communication skills that will work effectively in a fast paced dynamic environment while following safety and process controls. Team and individual work must be completed while learning new equipment packaging and integrating continuous improvement. They must be able to interpret and follow written and verbal work instructions. The candidate must be effective with constantly changing priorities and changing tasks.

Physical Requirements:

Stockroom work requires lifting up to 18kg, 10 times per day and transferring this weight to a cart either at the same level or down at knee height Maximum lift waist high transfer to waist high 23kg, 10% of the time. The employee must be able to maximum vertical lift to any height 14kg, 40% of the time.  Push or pull metal boxes on wheels that easy roll 91kg, 10% of time. The position requires the employee to use steps to retrieve raw materials and reach over a tilting lift table to install packaging material. The employee must be able to have full range of motion with their arms and legs. The position will include time up to an hour sitting and performing transactions and data entry at a computer.
