职位描述

Position: Infotainment, Services & Innovation(Contractor)

Division: VW Sales & Marketing

Location: Beijing

Scope, objective and relevance of position:

  • Support in the development ofmediumand long-termInfotainment / HMI / Connectivity solutions, product market requirements & products strategies for Brand Volkswagen, JETTA (others tbd) incl. positioning and product definitions for top management decision within VGC and WOB current and future product range, incl. MIB Gen 2, Gen 3, ICAS 3, Modules (FPK, AR HUD, HUD, iID) as well as local China specific solutions

  • Steer accurate Competitor and Segment / Market forecast & analysis to capture customer demands and business opportunities.

  • Support product request steering and tracking for Infotainment, Connectivity and Innovation with relevant counterparts

  • Support creation of rollout maps and rollout planning for Infotainment, Connectivity and Innovation with relevant counterparts including volume planning.

  • Support VGC Internal small scale research projects with Innovation Center Asia and implementation of Probendenpool

  • Support regular consolidation and update of management documents

  • Establish working relations & interface with key stakeholders for Infotainment & Innovation Management and modules related topics to VWGS, G4, R&D EE (VGC and WOB), Innovation Centre Asia in VGC, JVs and HQ (Wolfsburg) and jointly drive the implementation of related topics into VW Brand projects China with C-WVP Product Marketing Manager

  • Know-how transfer and sharing within C-WVP and key stakeholders

Key Tasks:

1. Support the development & definition medium and long-term Infotainment & Innovation product, services andmodules strategies for Volkswagen brand Region China for:

  • Local VWBrand in both JVs

  • R-Line Business

  • FBU brand, Subbrand,

2. Support steering of minimum 40 Competitor Analysis & Innovation Scouting / analysis projects per year:
  • 7-10 segment analysis

  • 20 competitor analysis

  • 8-10 special competitor research topics

  • Approximately 1 overarching innovation road-map & 3-5 detailed innovation product requests, including preparation, implementation, steering and breakdown to car segments

  • Weekly /monthly / quarterly market Data collection, processing, reporting & database management

3. Support appr. 15 – 20 product request steering and tracking for Infotainment, Connectivity and Innovation with relevant counterparts per year

4. Support creation of 15-20 rollout maps and rollout planning for Infotainment, Connectivity and Innovation with relevant counterparts including volume planning per year

5. Support appr. 4 VGC Internal small scale research projects with Innovation Center Asia and implementation of Probendenpool per year.

6. Support regular consolidation and update of management documents (e.g. preparation of decision paper, briefing and debriefing documents for workshops, VAP and and other decision making committees for VW brand innovation initiatives)

Qualification and skills:

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive industry related business, such as car

    company, consulting company or Tier 1 supplier

  • Market research, customer research and product research knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of quantitative analysis techniques

  • Good data processing ability

  • Knowledge of automotive engineering and automotive industry

  • Experience in Chinese automotive market, Joint Venture steering

  • Professional work experiences in relevant field as data management, business analysis and/or research analysis

  • University degree Bachelor / Master / MBA: business, economics, marketing and sales,

    business management, industrial engineering or similar

  • Preferred subject major in automotive management or automotive Engineering

  • Infotainment / HMI & connectivity solution product and related service experience, at OEM and/or supplier industry, preferably in China Market

  • Innovation Management & start-up/trend-scouting experience at OEM, supplier or others
