This is an R&D Software Engineer role, reporting to R&D Team Manager in Business Area – Motion, Drive Products located in Beijing, China.

- Working as part of the Low Voltage Drives R&D department, software development.
- Developing and maintaining embedded firmware for Drive products, such as control panel (HMI) FW.
- Supporting technical requirement specification and concept proofing of new technologies.
- Analyzing customer needs and transferring into technical solutions.
- Supporting in resolving possible customer issues related to the firmware
- Leveraging best-practice software engineering processes, utilizing appropriate tools.

- Bachelor or master’s degree of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Must have strong software development background, familiar with all aspects of the software development life cycle, strong C programming language skill, C++ is plus.
- Must have experience with embedded system development such as ARM, DSP, experience in developing within embedded operating system environment; RTOS, such as RT-Linux is preferred.
- Must have good English communication skills (in word and writing) and positive attitude, willingness to travel domestically and internationally, a few weeks per year.
- More than 3 years of experience with good experience on embedded system Driver development such as UART, SPI, I2C, experience of working with protocol stacks such as OPC UA, MQTT, ModBus or similar.
- Should be familiar with Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS or another platform.
- Experience with NB-IoT technology, and with software development tools such as Git, TFS, Keil, IAR, visual studio development, experience with Embedded applications and user interface design, experience of working in a scrum environment / development team and international experience (work or study) are good to have.
