Country Director – (Greater China)

Fixed Term - 3 Years (renewable)

What it’s about

This role is to provide strategic leadership and management of the Cambridge English business and relationships in your territory

What you’ll be doing

1. Strategy development

· To lead the development of the Country Strategy in line with the Cambridge English global and regional strategy.

· Delivering on growth targets within agreed budgets and being accountable for the Country level P&L.

· As part of the senior management team of APAC, collectively responsible for the development of APAC regional strategy

2. Strategy Implementation

· Leading the implementation of the strategy in territory covering all revenue generation activities (including business development and marketing), and working collaboratively with Regional Operations Head to ensure a fit for purpose distribution network is in place, together with sound post-sales and support activities (including assessment services, customer services, operations)

· Operating within a matrix structure and working closely with colleagues in Cambridge.

· Using regular market and customer insight to develop local product delivery capability to capture new revenue streams and increase the reach of Cambridge English in market.

3. Governance

· Accountable for all compliance activities in country including QA, legal, premises, finance, risk management.

4. People management and development

· Developing individual employees into a high performing team.

5. Relationship development

· Accountable for the development of relationships with key stakeholders in the region including institutions, government and exam centres.

6. Regional ambassador

· To be the regional ambassador for Cambridge Assessment – this will involve specialist knowledge about our markets, education, assessment and the wider-educational landscape.

· Creating and maintaining high level relationships with internal stakeholders, being the voice of the customer and inputting into the overall Cambridge English strategy.

What we’re looking for

1. Qualifications

· Educated to degree level, relevant post graduate qualification (e.g. MBA) is desirable

2. Skills

· Proven leadership and team building skills

· Proven ability to operate at a strategic level

· Excellent negotiation skills

· Sound understanding of financial management and budgeting

· The ability to use and interpret data as a basis of sound decision making

3. Experience

· Knowledge of education systems and assessment

· Building senior relationships and negotiating high value contracts

· Regional leadership experience in an international organisation

· Experience of managing own P&L

· Past experience within the Education area internationally is desirable

工作职责：

· 领导并制定符合剑桥英语在全球及区域业务发展的战略

· 在既定预算范围内实现业务增长目标，对所在区域内的营业收入及支出负责

· 作为亚太地区高级管理团队的一员，共同负责亚太地区业务发展战略的制定

· 领导团队执行集团战略，在区域内开展包括业务开发、市场营销等所有业务活动，协同区域运营主管确保搭建业务网络、售后支持、测评及客户运营服务的正常运行

· 协同集团及各区域开展密切合作

· 挖掘市场及客户需求，开发并交付新产品，获取新业务增长点，增加剑桥英语在市场中的影响力

· 负责管理区域内涉及质量保证、法务、经营场所、财务、风控等所有合规活动

· 负责管理员工，将个体转化为高效的工作团队

· 发展并维护剑桥英语与教育机构、政府部门及考点的业务伙伴合作关系

· 担任剑桥英语区域大使在教育前景及测评领域具备良好的专业知识

· 与业务伙伴建立并维护良好的合作关系，反馈市场需求并入集团整体发展战略

职位要求：

具备大学本科（或以上）学历，硕士MBA专业优先

出色的中英文书写及交流能力（均达C1级及以上）

具备卓越的领导能力及团队建设能力

具备出色的战略操作执行能力

在跨国机构担任过同等职位的工作经验

具备良好的财务管理及成本控制能力

具备数据分析及战略决策能力

具备建立高层关系及签订大额合同谈判的能力

优秀的业务运营管理能力

具备语言测评领域的相关知识，同行业工作经验更佳
