Job responsibilities:

1. Execution of Export Control and Anti-Terrorism Regulations (National, US and those imposed from Corporate)

·         Ensure export control checkpoints for all relevant processes within Infineon framework which includes PUR, HR, SMD, F, LOG

·         Participation in ad-hoc projects where applicable

·         Participation in GC/APAC ECC Workshop

2. Controlling / Daily Operations

·         Ensure smooth operation systems through the release of blocked orders in non-standard delivery approval system (NOSTAS)

·         Ensure correct classification for all shipments, technology transfer and hiring positions (if applicable)

·         Provide support on daily export control issues for all departments of IFBJ

·         Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned

3. Training, Awareness and Competency Building

·         Create general awareness and/or personalised trainings for relevant stakeholders via regular interactions with them

·         Ensure regular update of the training slides using the Central EC training reference slides

·         Participate and provide articles for the AP export control newsletter

·         Participate in internal/external training relating to Export Control

·         Engaging with relevant government bodies on Export Control (P)

4. Audit

·         Prepare for internal audit by IFCN (i.e performed by IFBJ BC ECC) and governmental authority (P)

Job requirements:

1. Bachelor Degree

2.5 years of experience in a trade compliance, export control, customs or logistic environment. Experience in Semiconductor Industry preferred.
3. Good knowledge of China and US Export Control Regulations. Intermediate knowledge of EU regulations on Export Controls. Basic knowledge of International Export Control Regimes (i.e. WA, MTCR, AG, NSG).
4. Good knowledge of related areas where there are regular interfaces e.g. Sales & Marketing, Logistics, Research & Development, Purchasing, etc…Basic-Intermediate knowledge on Customs topics, i.e. HS Codes.
5. Fluent English in both oral and written.
