Role overview

  

With the rapid increase of software complexity, it is today for all OEMs and suppliers a challenge to develop the software functions with a safe, quick and efficient way. This includes for example the software test and calibration tasks. We support our customer, which is a worldwide OEM in premium automotive branch, in powertrain E/E software development. With your skills and experience, you will join our team in order to face these challenges and take over the responsibility together.

  

Tasks

  

• Calibration validation of software function performance for thermal management & powertrain torque coordination:

  

• Conduction of standard vehicle system tests

• Conduction of SW/Calibration change request tests

• Comparison of diverse SW datasets

• Evaluation & analyze of test results

• Generate test reports

• Technical support of trouble shooting from production or after sales

            

• Coordination in powertrain testing

  

• Coordinate SW release information with SW responsible persons or SW coordinators

• Coordinate vehicle usage for related calibration tests with responsible persons of car management

• Coordinate other testing tasks in project (ECU networking, Monitoring, Flash-Test etc.) with diverse contact persons

      

• Management

  

• Constantly check project quality

• Regularly make project overall report with customer manager

• Occasionally arrange organizing activities in on-site IAV Team

• Support project manager to handle project overall topics, e.g. cost and SoW (Statement of work)

        

Qualifications

  

• Master degree in mechanical-, mechatronic-, automotive-, electrical engineering or in a related field

• Minimum 5 years working experience in automotive industry with technical expertise in software application area

• Experienced in coordination with good communication technique

• Experienced of using application tools, e.g. INCA/CANoe/CANape

        

• Chinese drive license C1 and experienced driver

• Technical expertise of thermal management or powertrain torque coordination is beneficial

• Chinese native speaker with fluent English language skills, German is beneficial

• Self-responsible and Team-responsible working attitude and initiative

• Intercultural competence with team mentality
