The Purpose of the Role

To lead and manage the MICE team of the Region North for short term and long term business growth/success.

Responsibilities

Manage the MICE team based in Beijing local sales office to develop MICE business to achieve the regional sales target and widen business channels with new partners 

Mission 1 : Lead and manage the MICE team of North Region in achieving sales terget set 

* Supervise and manage a team of various roles, and cross departmental relationship 

* Motivate, train and lead by example to build a strong business development team

* Involved in budgeting planning and other administrative tasks such as team expenses approval

Mission 2 : Build strong sales pipeline for short term & long term

* Participate industry trade shows & FAM events to generate leads by running or participating Sales calls, Industry events, Exhibitions, Trade Marketing Activities, FAM Trips, New Projects

Mission 3 : Build important information repository for BD and Marketing purposes

* Ensure data accuracy in capturing client information and group information by the team into CRM system (saleforce), submit all other required report on time

* Ensure event information such as photos, video, client testimonials, event details of certain clients are well captured as successful track records for marketing and business development purposes

Mission 4 : Will supervise a team of a few direct reports and manage a smooth cooperation cross departmentally with key BPs to deliver CM Meetings & Events standard stay experience

Requires

- Bachelor degree or abore

- At least 10 years business development experience and at least 5 years team management experience

- Results driven. Strong ownership and leadership. Proactive working attitude and mindset.

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to present ideas clearly; 

- Bilingual in both Chinese and English language (Proficiency in French will be a plus).
