Major Responsibilities: 

• Own customer service requests, taking end to end responsibility for all service requests, as appropriate (i.e. maintaining Legend presence on service request even if passed to partner)
• Ensure service requests are documented across full lifecycle, so performance metrics can be generated
• Efficiently forward support requests to any 2nd Level support, if not resolvable on first call
• Ensure effective management of any requests or issues raised through calls, emails, self service and face to face, using agreed incident management and request fulfilment processes, and monitoring the status and progress of incidents and service requests
• Troubleshoot & facilitate resolution of any services, requests or issues, that fall to the Onsite Support role
• Ensure compliance with quality management, risk management, security policies and procedures
• Support 2nd Level issue and request resolution as required
• Support IT BPs to define and address business challenges and opportunities
• Support Technology and Operations lead to ensure assets and environments are performing as expected

Education: a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or related field is required.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in IT operation and service management.

• Strong service management capabilities – given likely degree of outsourced support functions
• Strong collaboration and teaming skills to work with IT and business leadership and other IT roles to define and ensure infrastructure readiness and performance meets business expectations
• Deep technical knowledge and expertise of overall Legend devices, assets and environment
• Strong Individual Contributor – taking accountability and ownership of technical tasks at hand and overall support performance
• Strong analytical ability to identify and analyze risks and issues, to help predict issues and quickly mitigate risks
• Good ability to establish and promote best practices – so organizational capabilities exceed that of what is in the role or group
• Business relationship management
• Experience in maintenance, configuration, test and implementation of computer hardware and software.
• Working knowledge of Windows, MS Exchange, Linux, Office 365, BGP, VPN, Wireless Network, FREEPBX, HUAWEI, SHORETEL and remote communication tools as Teams, WebEx and Zoom etc.
