JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent will be responsible for all facets of technical and sales support of Company products by applying his/her proven ability to implement solutions that add value to our customers and our Company. Responsibilities include but are not limited to strategic projects involving application/equipment selection support, field service support, customer service strategies, and achieving personal and group customer support objectives in the East China Sales office.

The incumbent should strive for continuous improvement in customer satisfaction by providing superior customer solutions.

As a member of the Regional Technical (TS) team led by the TS Team Leader for China/Asia, the individual will report on an operational and daily basis to the Regional Sales Manager in Beijing office.

This role offers the right candidate the unique opportunity to grow with an organization that is undergoing digital transformation in the fluid technology industry. The right candidate will also be given an opportunity to develop and expand the scope over time.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Aim to achieve “best in class” customer support and satisfaction. Responsible for the following functions; applications support, FAQ’s, field service/equipment monitoring, AOL support, order entry and non-configured products generation and control within Company policy guidelines.

2. Assist in all related activities in customer technical support and takes ownership and responsibility for solving customer issues. Provides feedback to other departments as required and leads and/or participates in applicable Project Teams involving strategic initiatives and product development.

3. Assists in developing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures.

4. Performs internal and external training, participates in presentations and trade shows.

5. Interacts with Company marketing operatives to provide feedback on initiatives.

   ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Analyzes and reports customer feedback for continuous customer serving improvement.

2. Supports special projects as assigned by supervisor/management.

   EDUCATION:

1. University degree in a technical field, preferable in Mechanical Engineering / Automation / HVAC etc.

   EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND:

1. Minimum 3 years sales and service experience in the HVAC or pump related industry.

2. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.

3. HVAC systems knowledge.

4. PC literate; emphasis on Microsoft Suite products. Outlook experience an asset.

5. Fluent English, esp. reading and writing; CET 6 preferable

   LOCATION: Shanghai Office

   TRAVEL FREQUENCY: 50% northern China
