You will be responsible for Electronic New Product development (NPD) Quality planning, quality control and customer complaints management, enhance product reliability by continuously improvement to satisfy the customer expectation, drive quality process optimization and digitalization in quality.

This is a Quality Specialist role, reporting to Quality Control Manager in Business Area – Electrification, Smart Buildings located in Beijing, China.

- Giving quick respond to the customer complaints, and leading the internal analyze process, planning and driving the corrective and preventive actions to guarantee a fast and effective close of the issues.
- Working on electronic products quality control, supporting production to drive the analyze and solving of production issues to guarantee a better delivery with reliable quality. Working as owner of process quality KPIs (DPMO, RTY), drive the core team to take necessary actions.
- Defining and implementing product verification test plan according to relevant products requirements and standards, working on product release validation and approve, collaborating with project team to realize the on-time delivery with a reliable quality.
- Working on control plan, defining inspection instructions, defining the training plan and implementing the training to quality testers, periodically checking the test reports to guarantee the effectiveness and accuracy, continuing improving inspection efficiency.
- Driving quality digitalization (new tools, methodology and software platform), to realize the digital report and continuously improvement on quality data.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

- Must have a bachelor’s degree or above, major in electronic or automation technology related professional, digitalization experience as preferred.
- Above 3 years quality control background, experience in electrical/electronic products, or smart/IoT application products is preferred.
- Familiar with PPAP, SPC, CP, FMEA, etc., Six Sigma belts is preferred.
- Proficiency skill for Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Familiar with Minitab or Power BI is preferred.
- Ability to communicate in English, both written and oral.
- Must exhibit good communication and teamwork, being highly responsible, and self-motivated with a very strong learning ability and a pursuit for perfection.
