Job Title : Quality Manager

Team ： Quality

  

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

  

To support business development through leading and coordinating the standardization and improvement of quality systems, procedures and policies, and driving Quality Management in full value chain way from the material in to the product and service delivered to customers.

  

  

1. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  

  

1. Education

    

• Degree in mechanical engineering degree, or equivalent with a proven track record dealing with the bearing platform

  

  

1. Knowledge / Skills

    

• Knowledge of latest quality tools, techniques & international Quality standards

• Customer warranty handling, Project Management, & supplier quality experience is desirable.

• Ability to work with cross-cultural and cross-functional team.

• Six Sigma and ME experience preferable

• Strong Leadership in leading change

• With Ownership, openness and high ethic

• Good command of written and spoken English

                

1. Specific Experience

    

• At Least 8 years total Quality management experience in manufacturing, railway manufacturing industry is a plus

  

  

1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    

• Deployment, follow-up & reporting of department targets & improvement plans Score card.

• Develop & maintain the Factory Quality System - QD.

• Quality System Audits (Internal, customer) Plan & audit improvement actions follow up.

• Planning, reporting Quality Conformances from Product Audits & follow-up of improvement actions.

• Customer Warranty Handling & Field return investigations.

• Take measures to lower the poor-quality cost sustainably in operation.

• Takes Q-relevant aspects into supplier selection process. Supports the supplier development methodically and performs a corresponding controlling.

• To be customer complaint handling process owner, i.e. root causes analysis, corrective actions identification, customer communication and verification of the effectiveness of corrective actions.

• Coordinate and follow-up factory quality plan.

• Monitor quality KPIs and coordinate quality related improvements.

• Lead deployment of Zero Defect concept.

• Conduct manufacturing release for all new products and report all changes in Quality Conformance during product audits to Factory and Division levels.

• Manage activities in materials and fluids testing be carried out in the factory laboratory and measuring rooms.

• Responsible for supplier product approval and actively participant in supplier quality performance control.
